We went out on a starlit night,
There was a glowing of purple light,
Limehouse basin we did go,
Jim fell in yellow snow,
We went down for the pirate ships,
Our friend Oonagh took a dip,
Ewan spotted a big, black crow,
Into the water he did go.
Many a ship in this time forgot,
Many a smuggler here did plot,
And the hangman's noose here does lie,
Outside the tavern of ghostly cries,
In lowland narrows of London town,
Down and sinner are to be found,
In the hazardous frights of gambling den.
No escape for honest men,
Where the water of life is whiskey and gin,
And bleary-eyed sailors hunt for their sin,
Where the crabs and the lice are every bed companion,
And rats eats the babies to the baleful accordion.
Ewan Bleach is brilliant, his touch, soul and aura are unique nowadays. When I listen to the album it transports me to another world, his world. Then it's hard for me to come back to reality. Really enjoyable and nice. Many thanks Ewan to produce all this music for us to enjoy it. carsebe
